Skills Required

  • MBA degree from a well reputed university.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience of working in the manned guarding industry.
  • Working command in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages (Hindi, European desirable).

Key Duties

The Business Development Executive is a role made up of many different duties such as:

  • Liaise with other senior staff (Line managers) to determine the range of services to be sold.
  • Discuss employer’s or client’s requirements, carry out surveys and analyze customers’ reactions to services, price, delivery etc.
  • Compile and analyse sales figures, prepare proposals of marketing campaigns and promotional activities (with the guidance of senior staff) and undertake market research,
  • Produce reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management,
  • Keep up to date with products, services and competitors,
  • Handle customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction,
  • Recruit and train junior staff,
  • On site induction and training of officers,
  • Respond to contingencies (such as break-ins, blow outs, fluctuating demands, etc.)

Note: The list is not exhaustive but indicative and the nature and scope of your duties is subject to change in line with needs of the business. A number of these and other duties will require you to hold SIA front line license for effective discharge of your duties.

Novus Altair Ltd is SIA (ACS) approved and ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 accredited provider of professional security services such as Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Key holding & Alarm Response Services, and Control Room Services to a range of businesses across the UK and is currently seeking individuals to promote and expand the business in various regions across the UK.
Selling into the various designated regions across the UK, candidates should be familiar with the entire sales cycle from lead finding, through to presentations, tendering and closing. The market to be attacked will be the Blue chip commercial & Industrial, Retail, local authorities, construction and retail key holding, events etc. Clients from South Asian background will be specially targeted.
The role is a 50% new business and 50% account management role.
